IN-CAR AR EXPERIENCE
In collaboration with the VFX pioneer behind Lord of the Rings’
Gollum, Lyft presents an unprecedented mixed-reality experience
that nods to great stage performances of the past, all unfolding
within the cabin of a Lyft ride.
Using a tablet disguised as an antique hand-mirror, riders peer
into a parallel, retro-futuristic universe that calls our very reality
into question.
The on-screen performance is enhanced by multi-sensory
components, including perfectly-timed surround sound, flashing
lights, smells, temperature changes, and interactive
opportunities that blur the perception of the real and the
imagined, suspending belief and sparking genuine awe.
Participants leave the ride with an emotional and visceral
understanding of the inevitable transformation that happens
when we share the ride.
