Gollum

I was the Creature Facial Lead for all three of the Lord of the Rings movies. Gollum was my baby, I was there for his first shot and his last. He represents a mountain of sculpting, madness and math. I pioneered the use of FACS with him and built a combinatoric shape network of about a thousand shapes using a 3D modeling tool I helped build with Larry Malone called Mirai. But really, a symphony my extraordinarily brilliant colleagues and I made him a long time ago on and island in the south seas.
